Pierrette (Marie Ethel Claudette) Lepage. Pianist, teacher, b Montreal 25 May 1939; B MUS (Laval) 1952, Artist Diploma (Toronto) 1959, BA (Toronto) 1960. She studied piano with Constantin Klimoff 1951-5 in Quebec City; with Alberto Guerrero 1955-59 in Toronto, while attending the RCMT and the University of Toronto; and with Lazare Lévy 1960-2 in Paris. She has performed with the TSO and the CBC Symphony Orchestra, and has fulfilled numerous other solo engagements across Canada. In about 1970 she and her husband, Bruce Mather, began performing as duo-pianists specializing in contemporary music; they have performed in Canada, France, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Belgium, and the USA. LePage taught 1964-6 at the University of Toronto and 1966-74 at McGill University.
