Thomas D. Warren. Organ builder, b USA, d Vicksburg, Miss, 1863. He went to work for Thomas Appleton, organ builders of Boston, in the spring of 1836, representing that firm in the southern states.

Thomas D. Warren. Organ builder, b USA, d Vicksburg, Miss, 1863. He went to work for Thomas Appleton, organ builders of Boston, in the spring of 1836, representing that firm in the southern states. He became a full partner with Appleton in 1847 under the name of Appleton & Warren, a partnership that lasted until 1850. He appears to have emigrated to Montreal after the partnership was dissolved and began to work for his brother Samuel Russell. He returned to the USA at the outbreak of the Civil War and enlisted in the Union Army. He was killed in action.
