Marthe Létourneau, soprano, teacher (born 27 June 1916 in Quebec City, QC; died 10 December 1998). Létourneau appeared as soloist with the MSO and the Quebec Symphony Orchestra and taught voice 1940-2 at Sherbrooke's Mont Notre-Dame, 1960-2 at the École Vincent-d'Indy, 1960-6 at the Institut Nazareth, 1962-3 at the Institut pédagogique de Montréal, and 1960-6 at the Grey Nuns' School in Hull. She also taught at Laval University 1966-84 and was a member of a vocal quartet there 1972-4.

Pierre Bernier. Cellist, teacher, b Quebec City 19 Aug 1933. He studied 1948-54 at the CMQ with Walter Joachim, Lucien Plamondon, and Paul Létourneau. He served 1956-66 as a cellist with the Quebec Symphony Orchestra and the CBC Quebec Chamber Orchestra.

Pierre (Paul) Morin. Cellist, conductor, teacher, b Montreal 27 Nov 1936; performance diploma cello (École normale, Paris) 1963. He studied 1954-8 at the CMM with Yvette Lamontagne and won the Prix Archambault in 1957.

William Morton. Tenor, teacher, b Deloraine, south of Brandon, Man, 27 Sep 1912. First trained as a violinist - he played in a dance orchestra at 13 - Morton studied voice in Regina with Alicia Birkett and in 1933 made his radio debut on CKCK.

Otto-Werner Mueller, conductor, teacher, pianist (born 23 June 1926 in Bensheim, Germany; died 25 February 2016 in Charlotte, North Carolina). Otto-Werner Mueller was one of the world’s most respected conducting teachers. After immigrating to Montreal in 1951, he worked for CBC Radio and TV. He also served as chorus master for the opera class of the Conservatoire de musique du Québec (CMM). He founded the Victoria School of Music in 1963 and conducted the Victoria Symphony Orchestra from 1963 to 1967. He conducted the premieres of works by André Prévost, S.C. Eckhardt-Gramatté and Malcolm Forsyth before relocating to the United States. He also taught conducting at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, the Yale School of Music, the Juilliard School and the Curtis Institute of Music.

Zoltan Roman. Musicologist, oboist, b Miskolc, Hungary, 7 Jun 1936, naturalized Canadian 1962; B MUS (British Columbia) 1962, MA (Toronto) 1965, PH D (Toronto) 1970. He studied the oboe in Miskolc and played in its State SO and State Opera until 1956.
