Judi Richards. Pop singer, b Toronto 12 Aug 1949, by Bill Richards' first wife, the actress Billy Mae Dinsmore. She has done lead and choral work in Montreal for jingles and has sung backup in concert and/or on record for Quebec pop artists. She was a member in the late 1970s of the bilingual vocal trio Toulouse (with Liette Lomez and Laurie Zimmerman), whose 'It Always Happens This Way'/'C'est toujours à recommencer' was popular. Her songs have been recorded by Toulouse, Renée Claude, Patsy Gallant, and others.
