Michael Robinson, artist (b at Timmins, Ont 27 Mar 1948). A self-taught artist with a lyrical and surreal style, Robinson is noted for his ink drawings and etchings. His concerns are the conservation of natural resources and revitalization of Indigenous cultural values.

Michael Robinson, artist (b at Timmins, Ont 27 Mar 1948). A self-taught artist with a lyrical and surreal style, Robinson is noted for his ink drawings and etchings. His concerns are the conservation of natural resources and revitalization of Indigenous cultural values. He is also a glassblower of considerable merit, having graduated from Sheridan College School of Design (Mississauga, Ont), and has received many awards at national and international exhibitions since 1970. He operates Two Rivers Studio in Keene, Ont.
