Ronald Charles Northcott

Ronald Charles Northcott, curler (born at Innisfail, Alta 31 Dec 1935). Northcott began curling in Vulcan, Alberta, in 1950 and was vice-skip on the 1953 Alberta High School champions. He joined the Calgary Curling Club in 1958, and between 1961 and 1978 competed in 9 Alberta championships.

Ronald Charles Northcott, curler (born at Innisfail, Alta 31 Dec 1935). Northcott began curling in Vulcan, Alberta, in 1950 and was vice-skip on the 1953 Alberta High School champions. He joined the Calgary Curling Club in 1958, and between 1961 and 1978 competed in 9 Alberta championships. Northcott represented Alberta at 6 Canadian championships (Briers) and won Canadian and world championships in 1966, 1968 and 1969; he was also all-star Brier skip in each of those years. Voted Calgary's athlete of the year in 1966 and 1968, he received the Order of Canada in 1976.
