Sheridan College

Established by the Ontario Government in 1967, Sheridan College is one of 25 Ontario colleges funded through the Ministry of Education and Training. In 28 years of operation to 1996, Sheridan has produced 45 000 alumni and a graduate placement rate of 90%.Sheridan consists of three campuses: the Skills Training Centre and Trafalgar Road Campus are located in OAKVILLE and the Davis Campus is located in BRAMPTON.

Sheridan's reputation for dynamic programming with national and international communities includes animation, computer animation, computer graphics, crafts and design, and sports injury management. The college's 171 programs are arranged into 10 schools: Access, Arts and Design, Business, Communication and Design Technology, Community Services, Continuing and Part-time Studies, Educational Services, Entrepreneurial Studies, Environmental and Manufacturing Technology, and Information Management.

Sheridan's mission is directed at meeting growing and diverse educational needs at the intersection of education, economic development and work force preparation. It delivers academic, skills and apprenticeship training to over 10 000 full-time postsecondary students and 42 000 continuing education students.
