Donald Henderson

Donald Henderson is curator of dinosaurs at the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology in Drumheller, Alberta. Despite the job title, he also collects and studies the prehistoric marine reptiles found in the province. His main research interest is how the very large, and sometimes bizarre, animals of the distant past functioned as living creatures, and this research involves ideas and methods from biomechanics. Henderson holds a BSc from the University of Toronto where he studied geology and physics, and a PhD in vertebrate palaeontology from the University of Bristol.
