Jeff Higdon

Jeff W. Higdon is a consulting wildlife biologist who works with government departments, Aboriginal groups and non-profit organizations on issues related to the conservation and sustainable management of Arctic marine mammals. He has conducted extensive research on the ecology of Arctic whales, seals and walruses, in addition to studies on the collection and interpretation of Aboriginal traditional knowledge and assessments of potential environmental impacts from proposed Arctic development projects. Jeff has a BSc and MSc from the University of New Brunswick, and a PhD from the University of Manitoba.
