John Boileau

John Boileau

Retired army colonel John Boileau is an author, book reviewer and media commentator, specializing in military history. He has written several hundred magazine and newspaper articles and more than a dozen books. He is the honorary colonel of the Halifax Rifles, founding chairman of the Halifax Military Heritage Preservation Society and a recipient of both the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and a Lieutenant-Governor of Nova Scotia Vice-Regal Commendation for his contributions to the history of Nova Scotia.
