Kirk Cameron

Kirk Cameron was born in Whitehorse, Yukon and has worked throughout Northern Canada. While with the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, Cameron worked on the creation of Nunavut. Within Yukon’s government he served as deputy minister of the Executive Council Office, Cabinet secretary, and deputy minister of Environment. Since 2003, Cameron has worked as a governance consultant with Gartner Lee Limited and AECOM. In 2009, he started his own consulting company, the Northern Governance Institute. Cameron is the co-author of two books, The Yukon’s Constitutional Foundations and Northern Governments in Transition. He has also taught at Yukon College.
