Mark S. Bonham

Mark S. Bonham is a Senior Fellow of Massey College, University of Toronto. He received his Master of Science (Economics), with a focus on capital markets theory, from the London School of Economics in 1986, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto in 1982. After founding two Canadian mutual fund companies and a long career in the financial industry, Mark is completing his third book, A History of the Canadian Financial Industry, 1900 to Present. An active member of the LGBTQ community, Mark is also the author of Notables: 101 Global LGBTQ People Who Changed the World and Champions: Biographies of Global LGBTQ Pioneers. He is also co-founder and managing editor of the online biographical encyclopedia QueerBio.Com. Mark is on the steering committee for the new Canadian Business History Association and has endowed the Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies at the University of Toronto.
