Saint-Luc was named by association with the neighbouring parishes of St-Martin and St-Marc. In 1963 it incorporated as the city of Saint-Luc with a population of 3218. Eel fishing was one of the mainstays of the economy. This industry remains part of present-day Saint-Luc.

Wilkie, Sask, incorporated as a town in 1911, population 1301 (2011c), 1222 (2006c). The Town of Wilkie is located in east-central Saskatchewan 160 km west of Saskatoon. Wilkie developed as a stopping place on the Medicine Hat
Gananoque, Ont, incorporated as a town in 1890, population 5194 (2011c), 5285 (2006c). The Town of Gananoque is located at the confluence of the St Lawrence and Gananoque rivers, 29 km east of Kingston.
The Crest Theatre was founded in 1953 by Donald and Murray DAVIS with the support of their sister, Barbara CHILCOTT. As students, in the late 1940s, Donald and Murray had studied theatre under Robert Gill at the University of Toronto's Hart House Theatre.
George River, 560 km long, in northern Québec, drains N into the E side of Ungava Bay. Its southern and eastern divides, along with those of tributary rivers Ford and De Pas, extend along much of the Québec-Newfoundland and Labrador border.
