Death of Hockey Hall of Famer Harry Howell
Known affectionately as “Harry the Horse,” defenceman Harry Howell was a seven-time All-Star and Norris Trophy winner. He set a franchise record with the New York Rangers for most games played (1,160). He also worked as a coach, manager and scout. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1979. His No. 3 was retired by the Rangers in 2009.
