Jasmine Taulu

Jasmine Taulu is working toward her master’s degree at the University of Victoria. Her research takes place on the Athabasca River in Alberta, where she collects ice cores to recreate winter conditions, and streamflow samples to quantify snowmelt, glacier melt and groundwater, using natural tracers. She has been involved in integrative watershed projects in Northern Ontario, including a citizen science program on the French River. During her free time, Jasmine enjoys being out in nature, whether walking by the ocean, camping in the woods or hiking in the mountains.
