Dimitry Anastakis

Dimitry Anastakis is a professor of history at Trent University. His work addresses the intersection of the state, business and politics, particularly in the post-1945 period in Canada. He has published eight books and collections, including most recently Death in the Peaceable Kingdom: Canadian History since Confederation through Murder, Execution, Assassination and Suicide (2015), Smart Globalization: The Canadian Business and Economic History Experience (2014), and Autonomous State: The Struggle for a Canadian Car Industry (2013). He has also served as a co-editor of the Canadian Historical Review.
