Eric (Thomas) Rollinson. Educator, organist, b London 16 Jan 1911, d Toronto 17 Apr 1963; FRCO 1931, B MUS (Toronto) 1943. He moved to Canada in 1932 and spent the next 10 years as an organist-choirmaster in Saint John, NB, and Hamilton, Ont. In 1942 he joined the faculty of the TCM. Adjudicator, lecturer, recitalist, and author of books on theory, he became a leading teacher of theory and organ in Toronto. The Rollinson Prize for RCCO examinations was established in recognition of his work in that college as president 1943-5, editor, and examiner.
