Spencer K. Monckton

Spencer is a PhD student at the York University studying the diversity, systematics and phylogeography of Canadian sawflies. He holds an NSERC Postgraduate Doctoral Award. He is primarily interested in insect taxonomy, diversity and biogeography, but would happily pursue anything that combines insects and fieldwork. His Master's research culminated in the description of eight new species of stem-nesting bees from Chile, and was supported by an NSERC Alexander Graham Bell Graduate Award.
